Infrastructure Projects : D-B Utilities Improvement ISA Air Base Project, Bahrain

ISA Air Base, formerly Shaikh ISA Air Base, is located on the 665km2 island nation of Bahrain which is situated off Saudi Arabia's eastern coast.

ISA Air Base is located on the shore of the Persian Gulf in southern Bahrain, It hosts the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) Fighter Wing and the two squadrons that comprise it.

In March 2009, the United States Air Force established a camp on ISA Air Base to support aerial port operations, the Unit was designated a detachment of the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing of Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. This detachment's purpose was to accelerate the delivery of mine-resistant, ambush-protected all-terrain vehicles to U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

Awarded Scope	Building on Argonaut's experience and relationship with UIP and with regard to ISA Air Base project; UIP awarded Argonaut the supply scope of the following: Server Farm, ISA Air Base This part of the project consists of the designed construction of selected improvements at the existing 91m2 (PEB) Pre-Engineered Building (Bldg-6007), to convert it to a Server farm where UIP awarded Argonaut the full electromechanical scope. Utilities Improvement, ISA Air Base UIP is managing the design of utilities improvements at ISA Air Base, Kingdom of Bahrain. The intent of the project is to supply and execute power and water utilities to most of the buildings located in the area, through new electrical and water networks. Argonaut's Scope was to Provide all labour, tools, equipment, temporary facilities, material, tests, and commissioning, as necessary to complete the Work.
